Articulation

1) My argument  
I want to argue that Utopia cannot exist in reality. There were so many books and films trying to actualize the perfect world Utopia. However there is no agreement whether Utopia can exist or not. Thus I want to define the utopia on my own and give the reasons why it cannot exist in reality.  

2) How I found my argument  
I was wondering how I can connect politics with psychology and biology(related to evolution). And then I got an idea of Utopia and i thought it can related to psychology and biology simultaneously. As I continued researching, it seemed hard to make an essay out of the topic Utopia because it was sort of a hard topic. However as i continued researching i found out that it is a quite interesting topic to write an essay about. Therefore i focused on why Utopia can't exist in reality based on psychological and biological facts regarding humans.

3) New research questions  

I have several questions that need to be resolved.

a) How can I define Utopia? 

b) What the books and films described the perfect world? 

c) Does evolution made humans to become selfish?

d)Are there clear evidences that people are selfish and competitive?

I'll continue browsing the internet and looking for interesting articles and keeping track of my research with blog posts.

4) Connections to the Harvard Sampler  

This argument has a connection to the Harvard Sampler. I would argue that the process of evolution emphasizes the selfishness of genes and individual organisms.
