Self Evaluation

1) What score do you think you deserve? Here is the rubric:
2 points - I think my first draft includes 5 elements of the classical argument form. Also I think it is good start of an effective persuasive essay.

2) What did you do well?
I researched a lot. And I found many connections between my arguments and historical facts which is important. Also to emphasize the importance of my essay I used many background information such as history of Utopian societies and etc.
arguments are based off of opinions and personal feelings.
3) What could you have done better?
Maybe when I use the sources, I should explain more thoroughly about connection between my opinion and sources. It can be seen as hasty generalization.

4) Which part of the classical argument did you use the best?
I made a good introduction. It contains attention grabber and explanation that is necessary. Also in the conclusion I emphasized the importance of this essay by saying that knowing Utopia can't exist in reality leads to opportunities to make better future.

5) Which part of the classical argument did you use the most poorly?
Maybe confirmation and narration. In narration I could use more novels and movies to emphasize that dream of Utopia has been expressed in many other ways. Also in confirmation I think reasons are too broad and contains my opinion a lot. Some might argue that most of the historical facts that i used have only come from my own judgement.

6) What's your strategy to make your second draft better?
I should read the essay carefully so that I can point out where connection between my opinions and research is awkward. Also by doing depth research, I should make my essay seem more compelling and convincing.
I My narration is strong. I do a good job explaining the foundations of the issue, and I prepare my audience to hear my argument
